The last official ceremony of Kuopio-Jukola took place in the warm sunshine.  After a chilly night, the warm temperature was welcome to the spectators. The best 25 teams received prizes. As well as following the ceremony,  many teams were also still studying the maps to analyze their performances.
In the same ceremony, the Jukola flag was handed over to the next organizer of the Jukola relay. A representative of the organizing club Kuopion Suunnistajat said that the event had been built with passion and respect for the sport and the Jukola tradition. Competition Manager Jouko Kaihua wished good luck to next year´s organizing club Paimion Rasti.

The representatives of Paimion Rasti  wished everyone welcome to completely different surroundings in the Turku region next year. They were also bold enough to say that everyone will be a winner in Louna-Jukola.

After the Coach prize had been presented to Kalevan Rasti coach Antti Harju, the official programme was over. The race, however, will continue until the Jukola relay finish is closed at 3 pm.
