The winter has been exceptionally mild also in Vehmersalmi. It has been raining a lot but there is no snow on the ground.
The area is wet, but with no snow and frost it will be easier to erect the electric poles in January. What the organizers hope for is a dry spring.
It was green and wet in the competition centre on New Year’s Day 2014.
