Perttu Sorsa from Hiidenkiertäjät 2 ran the second leg in his team and was surprised how loose the terrain was.
– There were plenty of tussocks and swamp which was some kind of a surprise to me.That made it hard, not the height differences. I’m not used to this kind of terrain, says Sorsa.
Sorsa wasn’t very happy with his performance. He came 61. to the changeover.
– I wasn’t able to run all the time but my orienteering was rather good and I made just one big mistake.
Sorsa is a specialist in night orienteering and for that reason he ran the second leg, which is the darkest.
– I would have preferred darker conditions. Now I only needed the headlamp for reading the map.
