Sydän Venlat (“The Heart Venlas”) was the first Venla team to submit their entry to Kuopio-Jukola. But things happen.

– It already seemed that half of the team would change because the first runner happens to be pregnant and I, the last runner, have hurt my leg badly, says Tarja Ikonen from the team.

– Now it seems, however, that I will be able to take part in the last leg of the relay, walking with the help of a knee support, very slowly. So we are looking for the beginner for the relay in the orienteerer bank.

It is still possible to look for a missing runner for your Jukola or Venla team in the orienteerer bank. In the same way, a runner without a team may find a suitable team for him/herself.

At this moment there are mostly runners from different countries willing to take part in the Venla Relay in the bank.  On the other hand, many Jukola teams, mostly teams consisting of workmates or friends, are still looking for runners for different legs. The teams who have high hopes of a good result also make their point clear.

Through the orienteerer bank it is easy for runners and teams to find each other and after this they can agree on the details concerning the relay.
