The model orienteering made Persson a bit pensive.
The model orienteering on Friday night gave the competitors a chance to get to know the terrain of this year´s event. The forest was extremely wet thanks to a thunderstorm but it didn´t frighten the competitors. Henrik Persson of Tullinge SK came back from the forest happy but also a bit pensive.
– The soil is soft and technically challenging, Persson says.
– You need to be extremely careful especially at night.
Persson, who is taking part in the Jukola relay for the 19th time, will start his leg in the morning when it´s already light.
– The competition between the top teams will be tight but I expect the differences between the other teams will be greater, Persson says.
