At 11pm a long line of head lamps shone at the church of Eno, when 1.590 first leg orienteerers started Jukola relay, which is one of the Finland 100 celebatory events for the centenary of Finnish independence. The church bells rang as the start signal and Finlandia Hymn played by Dragoon Band accompanied them into the mild summer night.

The first teams are expected to finish the relay before 7am in the morning. You follow the relay at 22.45 – 7.20 at Yle TV2, Yle Areena, the international Web TV broadcast and in social media.
