The Jukola message urges to protect the Baltic Sea<\/p>\n
According to tradition, one member of the winning Jukola team reads the Jukola relay message. This year Emil Svensk<\/strong> from Stora Tuna OK had the honour to present the orienteerers\u2019 message:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cFinland\u2019s national author Aleksis Kivi describes our country\u2019s nature with tender words in his novel Seven brothers.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n \u201cSpring had come, the snowdrifts had melted; the winds blew mild; the earth began to<\/i><\/p>\n blossom and the birchwoods to put on leaves.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n Sustainability, the joy of exercise and well-being are the basis of Porvoo Borg\u00e5 Jukola. Protecting nature and preserving Finland\u2019s beautiful nature for future generations is one of our most important responsibilities.<\/p>\n The Baltic Sea is the world\u2019s youngest sea. The Baltic Sea is also one of the world\u2019s most sensitive and polluted seas.
