Jukolan viesti 2016 orienteering relay will be held in Lappeenranta, south-eastern Karelia. The competition centre wil be built in an open forest-surrounded field in the village of Raippo.

We welcome everyone interested in orienteering to share the unique atmosphere of the Jukola relay. In addition to sports clubs the Jukola relay and the Venla relay are becoming more and more popular among teams that consist of group of friends, work places or relatives.

The competition terrain calls for accuracy in map reading: competitors will face the challenge of considerable differences of height and peculiar rapakivi areas. On the other hand, it’s possible to speed up when you cross the economic forest areas.
