We would like to remind orienteers, local visitors, and volunteers on the following:
Vehicle traffic at the Jukola competition center in Tikkala, and in the vicinity will be restricted also on Friday. This is to ensure smooth and safe plant operations for everyone. The competition center can only be accessed by vehicles with special permits.
You will be able to reach the competition center only by bus which will run on Friday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., or by bicycle/by foot from the tent sites. Buses will drop passengers off at the HK bus stop, which is about 1,5 km walk from the competition center. PLEASE NOTE: This applies also to competitors/other team members picking up team material!
As instructed earlier, those staying overnight can bring their luggage by car to the accommodation areas along Tikkalantie. After dropping off their belongings, cars must leave immediately. Cars cannot be parked on Tikkalantie, so there must be a driver and another person in the car to take care of the luggage. Please follow the signs and instructions of the parking attendants!
