During the Jukola weekend, a transport service for belongings will be available from the bus drop-off zones to accommodation areas located farther away. This is a new and valuable service for many, allowing participants to ease their load when moving between locations.
Bus Transportation to Drop-Off Points
Event buses are low-floor buses, so strollers can be taken on board. Passengers disembark at designated drop-off points, from where they continue on foot to the competition centre. The walking distance to the main entrance is approximately 1.5–2 km.
Transport of Belongings to Accommodation Areas
On Saturday between 9:00–18:00, a dedicated transport service will carry belongings from the bus drop-off area to the accommodation areas listed below. The transport departs from “HK stop”, and those arriving at “Kariniemi stop” will need to carry their belongings to the HK stop for onward transport.
Belongings will be transported to the following accommodation areas:
1 Jukola, Pappila, and Toukola: delivered to Tikkalantie roadside
2 Hemmola: delivered next to the area
3 Männistö: delivered next to the area via Vanha Otavantie and Kallajärventie
A return transport service will operate on Sunday from 8:00–14:00, bringing belongings back to the HK stop.
Bringing Belongings by Car on Friday
On Friday, belongings may be brought by car near the accommodation areas along Tikkalantie. Cars may turn around near the intersections 9A/9B or near the roads leading to the concrete factory. Those delivering items to Hemmola may turn around next to the area. After unloading, cars must leave the area immediately. Parking is prohibited on Tikkalantie.
Note! It is not possible to bring belongings to Männistö independently, not even on Friday via Kallajärventie.
Accessibility and Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is available in the competition centre with a valid disabled parking permit. No additional arrangements are in place for other people with mobility restrictions, but taxis can reach close to the competition centre.
A map of the area will be published later – stay updated by following the event website and social media channels.
