Eligibility to Participate

The teams should mainly be formed from the members of one orienteering club. Combined teams may be formed if a club otherwise could not find enough competitors to form a team or a club has more young competitors than they can fit into their own teams. A team may also be formed from schools or youth organizations of the same county. If a club member wants to participate in a team of a school or youth organization, a permission from the orienteering club is required. Age and gender regulations apply to all teams.

No Finnish Orienteering Federation license or insurance are required to participate. The participation is at the competitor’s own risk.

The organizer forms combined teams of the orienteers who have listed themselves in the Orienteer Bank. The competitors of such teams will be charged a registration fee of 20 €/person.
