The youth orienteering super weekend culminated on Sunday with the Junior League finals and the Compass event for the younger age groups. In the Junior League finals, the H18 winner was Vilho Hietala of Suunta Jyväskylä, the D18 winner was Anni Jantunen of Espoon Suunta, the H16 winner was Hermanni Latonummi of Lahden Suunnistajat, and the D16 winner was Aurora Lehtonen of MS Parma.
In the Compass classes, the H14 and D14 races were held with a mass start. The winners were Kaarle Tiits of Tampereen Pyrintö and Veera Lonka of Turun Suunnistajat.
The competitions were held at the same event centre as Saturday’s Youth Jukola. Sunday’s weather was rainy and windy, but the competitions were successfully completed as planned.
