Esi-Jukolan kilpailukutsu on julkaistu!

Esi-Jukola suunnistetaan Vuokatin vaaroilla Rönkön alueella 27.6.2026 osana Viestiliigaa. Suunnistajia haastavat korkeuserot sekä rinnerastit. Esi-Jukolaa seuraavana päivänä alkaa Kainuun Rastiviikko Suomussalmella Säynäjällä, jonka maisemiin suunnistajat pääsevät ensimmäistä kertaa valloittamaan uutta kilpailualuetta.

Maailman suurin suunnistusviestikilpailu saapuu ensimmäistä kertaa Kainuuseen. Jukolan viestin kilpailukeskus Vuokatin urheiluopiston alueella on kuin kylä, josta löytyy monenlaisia tehtäviä eri alojen osaajille. Suurimpaan osaan talkootehtävistä ei vaadita suunnistuskokemusta.

Vuokatti-Jukola 2027 is an international event and the world’s largest relay orienteering competition, organized jointly by Sotkamon Jymy and Vuokatti Sport, contested in the Vuokatti area.

The Jukola Relay is the world’s largest relay orienteering event, featuring the four-leg Venla Relay and the seven-leg Jukola Relay. The Venla Relay starts on Saturday, June 19, 2027 at 1:30 p.m. and the Jukola Relay on Saturday evening at 11 p.m. The Jukola Relay will be orienteering through the summer night of Vuokatti.

Welcome to Pre-Jukola!

Welcome to Vuokatti-Jukola Pre-Jukola on June 27th, 2026 in Vuokatti to compete in the Relay League competition.

The Pre-Jukola competition area gives a good feel for the competition terrain in Vuokatti-Jukola 2027. The day after Pre-Jukola, the Kainuu Orienteering Week begins in Suomussalmi, Säynäjä, where orienteers will be able to conquer the new competition area for the first time.

Metsäareena® is a partner event themed around sustainable development in its various forms, with the forest not forgotten.

Metsäareena® brings you to the campfire. The goal is genuine, honest discussion in a barrier-free environment, the forest. The event program consists of outstanding keynote speakers and networking. Energetic interaction in the heart of nature around important topics. Metsäareena® sparks silo-breaking dialogue, new opportunities, and creative encounters.

Culture week of Vuokatti-Jukola

Vuokatti-Jukola combines a top orienteering weekend in Kainuu with various side events. The cultural week was inspired in particular by the local writer from Sotkamo, Veikko Huovinen, whose birth will be a hundred years old in 2027.

The more detailed content of the cultural week will be published in summer 2026, and will also include contributions from other municipalities in Kainuu.
