Registration
Registration for the competition opens on 2026, and the registered teams can be seen via the links below. The team contact person registers and pays for the team through the Registration System. Registration proceeds as follows:
- The team contact person creates a Jukola account for themselves on the jukola.com website
- The contact person signs in to the registration service with the Jukola account.
- The contact person registers and pays for the teams and additional services in the registration system.
In the Event Invitation you will find more information about entry fees and additional services, such as tent places, rentable half-platoon tents, and rental Emit cards.
Jukola Account Guide
The event uses an event-specific Jukola user account to ensure better personal service and event safety.
In the user account settings you can list:
- Clubs and teams whose registrars can see your information. You can list multiple clubs/teams you are available for.
- Club registrars assemble the teams and submit their running orders.
- All registrars must have a personal Jukola user account.

Welcome to Pre-Jukola
Welcome to compete on June 27, 2026 in Pre-Jukola in Vuokatti as part of the Relay League.
Pre-Jukola will be orienteering in the Rönkö area of Vuokatti. Orienteers will be challenged by the differences in altitude and the slope controls. The competition area gives a good feel for the Vuokatti-Jukola 2027 competition terrain. The terrain of Pre-Jukola is mainly a continuous forest area, and there is only one forest road and a UKK hiking trail on the map.
The day after Pre-Jukola, the Kainuu Orienteering Week will begin in Suomussalmi, Säynäjä, where orienteers will be able to conquer the new competition area for the first time.

With us you will find carefully selected products that suit the forest, the competition centre and a weekend outing or even as a gift. The selection includes annually updated official Jukola Relay products, Finnish national orienteering team fan merchandise, as well as other high-quality gear for everyday life and sport.
Terrain and old competition maps
The diverse competition terrain of Vuokatti’s hills offers orienteers variety and challenge.
The terrain is mainly spruce forest, and there are many differences in altitude. The paths crisscrossing the area in places increase the passability. The area has previously hosted competitions such as the World Orienteering Championships in 2013 and the World Cup middle distance competition in 2012.
The competition map was compiled by Jussi Silvennoinen and Teemu Köngäs.
Event centre
Welcome to experience the atmosphere of Vuokatti-Jukola on site at the competition center in the Vuokatti Sports Institute area. There will be various shops, exhibition stands and food stalls, not forgetting the malt stall.
A more detailed map of the area and the locations of the services on the map will be published closer to the event.
Embargoed area
For competitors and team staff, all movement, orienteering, and moving in the area with a map is prohibited.
As exceptions, ski training and participation in events are permitted until 30.4.2027 as follows:
- Travel on the asphalt road to Vuokatinvaara.
- In winter, ski on groomed trails and ski on the ski slopes with a cross-country skier.
- In summer, walk along the above-mentioned ski slopes, the UKK hiking trail and ski slopes.
- Participate in the Vaara test runs organized by the Vuokatti-Ruka Sports Academy or sports associations, even on the part of the test run route that is otherwise prohibited.
As of 1.5.2027, all movement in the training prohibited area is prohibited.
Vuokatti-Jukola training exercises are now open
Welcome to train in Vuokatti!
Training exercises for Vuokatti-Jukola are now open. There are relay races, longer distance and middle distance training. Check out and order the training sessions using the instructions that open in the link.
Order training maps by email with the subject ORDER. Orders must be placed at least five calendar days before pick-up.
Paid map orders can be picked up against a name from the Vuokatti Sport reception during opening hours. Minimum order 10 maps. €10 / map, smaller quantities directly from the Vuokatti Sport reception during opening hours €12 / map.

View the tent booking map
View the tent area map in advance and plan a suitable tent location. The final site is selected on the booking map in the entry system after payment.
Go to Register/ Login to make your tent booking and complete the payment.
