Jukola account guide
A personal Jukola account for participants
Vuokatti-Jukola uses personal Jukola accounts to provide better services for individual competitors and improve event safety. In your account settings, you can select the clubs and teams whose registration contacts can see your details. You can make yourself available to more than one club or team.
The club’s registration contact puts the teams together and submits their running orders. All registration contacts must have a personal Jukola account. You can create a Jukola account using the link below, or log in to manage your details.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I need a Jukola account?
Jukola accounts are used for several reasons:
- To improve event safety, we will need more information about competitors than just their names.
- In the coming years, we can introduce services with personalised features.
- Competitors can choose to receive the Jukola newsletter by email.
- In future, you will be able to log in to the Jukola mobile app with your Jukola account and access personalised features.
Is a Jukola account compulsory?
- Club and team registration contacts log in using a Jukola account, so an account is compulsory for them.
- PLEASE NOTE: You must create a Jukola account before you can book a pitch for a motorhome or caravan.
- Competitors are encouraged to create a Jukola account, but it is not yet compulsory.
How do I create a Jukola account?
- Start by clicking ”Create a Jukola account” above, then select ”Register” on the account service’s login page. You can also go to ”Competitors” and the Vuokatti-Jukola registration section in the menu at the top of the website, and select ”Log in”.
- Enter your details and select the clubs or teams you would like to be available for. Make sure you enter your email address correctly, then click ”Save”.
- After saving your account, you must verify your email address by clicking the link sent to you by email. You must verify it within two hours of registering. If the link has expired, you can request a new one using ”I have forgotten my password”.
I registered but did not receive a verification email. What should I do?
If you did not receive a verification link after creating your account, there are three likely reasons:
- The email containing the verification link may have gone to your promotions or spam folder. Check these folders. The sender’s name is ”Jukolan viesti”. Sometimes your organisation’s email system may hold the message for review. You can ask your email administrator to check this, or create a new account using another, personal email address.
- You may not have completed the account creation process. Try creating an account again with the same email address. If an account already exists for that address, you will receive an error message. You can then continue verifying or accessing your account using ”I have forgotten my password” on the login page.
- You may have accidentally entered your email address incorrectly. Follow the steps above and try creating your account again.
If these steps do not help, email . Your message will be forwarded to technical support.
How do I manage the details in my Jukola account?
- Log in to account management using ”Log in” in the top right-hand corner of jukola.com. Edit your details, then click ”Save”.
Our club’s registration or administrator permissions belong to someone who is no longer involved with the club, or whose email address can no longer be accessed. What should I do?
- Contact the Jukola office at to resolve the issue.
My club’s administrator permissions are linked to the club’s general email address. Should I create a personal account?
- Jukola accounts are personal. Each person responsible for the club’s entries must have their own account and be granted permission to enter teams for the club separately in the registration system.
- If the club contact’s permissions were previously linked to the club’s general email address, you must first log in to the registration system using a Jukola account created with that address. You can then use that account to grant club registration permissions to Jukola accounts created with personal email addresses.
What should I do if I cannot remember:
- whether I have a Jukola account?
- who has permission to enter my team?
Contact for assistance.
More information about using and sharing your Jukola account details
What does sharing my details with my club’s or team’s registration contact mean?
- When you select the clubs you are available to run for in the Venla Relay or Jukola Relay in your Jukola account, you make it easier for the person submitting the team’s running order. The club’s registration contact can only see your name and email address in the registration system.
- The registration contact can then select runners for the teams more easily, directly from the list of Jukola account holders.
How long does it take for my details to become visible to the registration contact?
- A few minutes. After you select a club you are available to run for in your Jukola account, it takes approximately 1–3 minutes for your details to appear under that club in the registration system.
Why is my club missing from the list where I can share my details with the registration contact? How can it be added?
- If your club does not appear when you type its name, it is not yet listed in the system. This happens when a club is entering the relay for the first time. The new club must first be registered in the registration system before you can select it.
- New clubs are approved manually by the Jukola office, so approval may take some time. The office is usually not staffed in the evenings or at weekends. The club’s name will only appear in the Jukola account’s club list once it has been approved in the registration system.
