There’s a great atmosphere in the tent village…
The reservation system for tent pitches and club tent sites opened when registration for Vuokatti-Jukola began. These sites must be reserved and paid for through the registration system at the time of booking.
The tent area is located in well-drained pine forest terrain approximately 700–1,500 metres from the competition centre. For many orienteers, camping is the only proper way to stay and experience the unique atmosphere of Jukola, regardless of the weather. Visitors may also spot references to Aleksis Kivi’s Seven Brothers in the names used on the area’s signposts.
Please note that accommodation in the Vuokatti-Jukola tent areas is not permitted before the competition centre opens on Friday, 18 June 2027 at 10:00.
The organisers have also reserved unheated accommodation tents for teams. Each tent accommodates 16 people. Until 14 January 2027, these tents are available only for international teams. After that date, any unreserved or released tents will become available to all teams.
These accommodation tents are located approximately 1,300–1,600 metres from the competition centre. Finnish teams may join the waiting list by emailing .
Club tent sites are located close to the changeover and finish area, with approximately 300 sites available. They serve as gathering points for club and team members, provide shelter from the weather, and offer space for equipment storage and changing. Please note, that overnight accommodation is not permitted in club tent sites.
Clubs entering at least four teams are entitled to reserve three club tent sites. All clubs and organisations wishing to reserve a club tent site must do so and pay through the reservation system.
The teams that placed among the top 25 in either the Jukola Relay or the Venla Relay at Kotka-Jukola 2026 have priority access to sites 1–101.
Heading to Vuokatti-Jukola with campers or camper vans?
Parking and accommodation areas for campers and camper vans are located in Koulurinne area beside the Vuokatti vaara hill range.
The distance to the competition centre is 3.6 kilometres along pedestrian and cycling paths. Spaces are limited and allocated in order of reservation. The competition centre can be conveniently reached on foot or by bicycle from Koulurinne.
There are 56 parking spaces with electricity for campers in Vuokatinrinteet area, which is 500 metres from competition centre.
Parking and accommodation areas are booked through the Eventilla system, and reservations open on 15 January 2027 at 10:00. As with other accommodation areas, the camper areas open on Friday, 18 June 2027 at 10:00.
