Parking at the competition centre

Passenger cars

  • Passenger car parking spaces are subject to a fee, and the parking fee is paid using the Finnish ParkMan app. This helps avoid congestion and unnecessary queues. You can pay for parking in advance or on site. Download the ParkMan app to your phone in advance from the App Store or Play Store. You can also get help with downloading from ParkMan support staff at competition info. The parking fee is €20. The parking fee can also be paid by card and in cash at competition info for €25. The parking fee covers the whole weekend, so you can leave and return to the parking area an unlimited number of times.

Parking fees are checked throughout the event by automatic number-plate recognition cameras. Please note that if a vehicle has not paid the parking fee when leaving, the fee will be invoiced afterwards, in which case the parking fee is €20 + a €10 invoicing surcharge. By parking, you accept the terms.

  • Be prepared for traffic congestion also on the way home.
  • Pay attention to safety and monitor your alertness when leaving.
  • Do not leave valuables visible in your car.
  • There are portable toilets at the edges of the parking areas.
  • There are several charging points for electric cars in Kotka. The nearest charging station is at Neste Huttunen (Suurniitynkatu 1, 48600 Kotka).

Short-term parking and leaving the area

  • Every drive into the parking area through ParkMan’s camera is recorded as a paid parking session.
  • The organiser cannot investigate individual cases where parking has only been short-term or where the vehicle has left the area and returned. Please take this into account when planning your driving.
  • If you briefly drop off or pick up competition visitors by car, do not drive into the actual parking area. There is space for such short stops near the area, provided that you follow the organiser’s and general parking and stopping restrictions.

Motorhomes and caravans

  • Those arriving by motorhome or caravan must reserve their place in advance through the registration system, as stated in the event invitation. Places for recreational vehicles are limited and allocated in order of registration. The parking fee of €60/115 is paid in advance in the registration system as an online payment.
  • Recreational vehicles are directed to the competition centre along the same routes as passenger cars.
  • When arriving by motorhome/caravan, follow the signs and traffic controllers and be prepared to state your own name + the name under which the place has been reserved when entering the area. Parking tickets will therefore not be sent in advance to those who have reserved a place; access to the area is only granted if the name is on the list. Those who have reserved a place will be asked in advance by email for the vehicle’s registration number due to automatic camera monitoring. If someone who has reserved a motorhome or caravan place has not received the message, they are asked to contact the Kotka-Jukola organisation at
  • The recreational vehicle parking area is filled in order of arrival. The parking area opens on Friday 12 June at 10:00 and closes on Sunday 14 June at 16:00. Toilets are available in the area.
  • There is no septic tank emptying service in the parking area. Tanks should be emptied before coming to Jukola. Electricity is also not available in the area. All open fires and the use of grills, etc. are prohibited outside the car or caravan. The use of awnings and front tents is also prohibited. The minimum distance between vehicles is 4 metres, and the instructions of parking stewards must be strictly followed when parking. The use of generators in the recreational vehicle area is prohibited at night from 22:00 to 07:00.

Club buses

  • Club buses are directed to the competition centre via Lentokentäntie. Follow the signs.
  • Traffic controllers manage club bus waiting and unloading operations. Their instructions must be strictly followed.
  • There are no bus parking spaces in the competition centre. After unloading, club buses are driven to free parking about 5 km away. Navigation address: Hyötytie 100, 48720 Kotka
  • The organiser does not provide transport from club buses to the tent accommodation area for unloaded goods. The distance from the unloading point to the tent accommodation area is 100–1500 metres.
  • Please note that when leaving on Sunday, club buses may enter the bus unloading and loading area with permission only when the entire bus group is ready to board the bus. Traffic controllers supervise entry. The persons responsible for the buses must establish a way to contact their driver at the waiting area.
  • The designated contact persons for club buses inform the person in charge of the unloading point when the entire bus group is ready to board. The person in charge of the unloading point gives permission for each bus contact person to call their driver to the unloading and loading area.
  • The instructions of the person in charge of the unloading point and the traffic controllers must be strictly followed.

Motorcycles

  • Motorcycles (and mopeds) have their own parking area at the competition centre. Motorcycle and moped parking is also subject to a fee, and the parking fee is paid using the Finnish ParkMan app. This helps avoid congestion and unnecessary queues. You can pay for parking in advance or on site. Download the ParkMan app to your phone in advance from the App Store or Play Store. You can also get help with downloading from ParkMan support staff at competition info or the parking service point. The one-time parking fee is €20. A parking ticket can also be purchased with MobilePay, card payment and cash at competition info for €25.
  • Parking fees are checked throughout the event by automatic number-plate recognition cameras. Please note that if a vehicle has not paid the parking fee when leaving, the fee will be invoiced afterwards, in which case the parking fee is €20 + a €10 invoicing surcharge. By parking, you accept the terms.

  • Arrival at the competition centre on foot, by bicycle or by kick scooter/e-scooter takes place via Lentokentäntie. Please keep to the right. Caution must be observed in the competition centre. Cycling on the airfield (parking area) is strictly prohibited! Please wear a helmet when cycling.

  • In the terrain, refreshment controls offer NOSHT sports drink in addition to water, in lemon flavour. NOSHT sports drink is absorbed quickly and contains important electrolytes. The drink is hypotonic; it effectively restores the body’s fluid and salt balance, and its composition helps avoid stomach problems.

Accommodation

  • The competition centre opens and accommodation in tents, motorhomes and caravans is possible from Fri 12 June 2026 at 10:00, when the signs are in place. Take care of your valuables! Open fires and the use of grills, camping stoves, gas stoves, etc. are strictly prohibited. The ban is monitored. Smoking is prohibited except in designated smoking areas. Use of the internet and mobile phones

  • At major events, mobile network capacity is always limited. The aim is to use mobile devices without wasting internet capacity so that, among other things, GPS tracking can be received from the terrain. Using ordinary websites, such as online result services, is not a problem. It is convenient to follow your own team’s progress, for example with the Jukola App; when you are logged in to your Jukola account, you will receive notifications of new split times.
  • Watching videos and TV broadcasts is not recommended because of the heavy load.
  • It is recommended to avoid producing and uploading video streams (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) to the internet, because these activities load the area’s network and endanger the functioning of GPS tracking.
