Test your Emit card here. Your Emit card functions correctly if the led is flashing on the control unit. If the led isn’t flashing you need to change the Emit card to a new one. You can rent a new Emit card at the information office.
During your race the control units in the forest or the finish line do not flash (or make any beeping noises). Make sure that you punch correctly to get a backup mark on your backup slip. The punching happens correctly when the dotted side of the Emit-card touches the bottom of the control unit (all the way, not just a brush).
To ensure that your backup patch doesn’t get loose, you can ensure it with a small piece of tape.
