Parking at Jukola competition area can be paid with ParkMan mobile app

Parking fees at the Jukola will be handled in a new way. The event’s partner, the Finnish company ParkMan, has added all the parking areas of Porvoo’s Jukola Viesti to its mobile app.

A parking fee of €20 is paid by downloading the ParkMan app from the app store on your smartphone. Installing the app requires a bit of phone training, as you have to register and enter your car registration number and credit card number when registering. If you need help downloading the app, you can contact the ParkMan support staff at the competition information desk and the parking service point.

Once the registration is complete, it is easy to pay yourself. The app automatically tells you where your car is and how much you have to pay. Using the app instead of paying at the gate speeds up parking and reduces congestion, making it easier for motorists to arrive at the event site.

Parking tickets can also be purchased by MobilePay, card and cash at the race information desk and by MobilePay and card at the parking service point. Parking fees will be checked on leaving the area. Payment of the parking fee will be shown on the phone or by presenting the parking ticket.

If, for any reason, the parking ticket is not purchased at all during the event, ParkMan will send the parking invoice home. A surcharge of EUR 10 will be added to the invoice sent by post.

ParkMan will also host the third part of Venla Viesti.
